Hi.

Recently moved into a property and want to remove this from the bathroom? Is there a safe way I can do this myself? I'm only going to fill and paint the wall so want to ideally disconnect and place back in wall and cover up.

Any help will be appreciated.

You don’t want a live cable in the wall, even if it is terminated correctly. It ideally wants disconnected at its source. If there is nothing to indicate that there is a live cable in the wall, it could pose a danger to anyone in the future who may drill into the wall for some reason. You know it’s there, but the person coming along after you may not.

trace it backinto the atticand it will come from a JB or A LIGHT. WITH POWERISOLATED, REMOVE REDUNDANT CABLE FROM WHEREVER.
