Whenever I fit a new consumer unit I get the pipes out and play a tune for a ceremonial switch on, after all appropriate testing has been carried out obviously.
Are the bagpipes bonded?

They are made of entirely natural insulating materials - wood, hide and ivory (shhhh, don't tell anyone!)Are the bagpipes bonded?

We had to stop using those after an LFB campaign. Apparently not being able to set your Scottish neighbours bagpipes on fire was causing serious angst in the big smoke. You need some 18th edition non combustible ones.
That guy is an affront to bagpiping!justthe thought of baggage pipes brings this guy to mind.
that's good.them barbarian scots need guarding. enough of them climbed over adrian's wall as it is. ( where's the smileys, dan?)Help me out... I can’t see the picture??
my brother in law was in the Scots Guards and played bagpipes. He’s appeared at the end of the Hootenany programme a number of times, but didn’t have the sense to ask for autographs.
How much would an Amy Whinehouse signature fetch these days?

Oh no! And here I am sitting in Berwick making use of Morrison’s free Wi-fi. (Picking it up in the car park)Wee nippy Nicola has banned us from crossing the border for now so you're safe again!
Love the bellwire! The first one just needs ripping out and sorting....the second open JB needs a bit more investigation as to why the bell don't work?. It's fed directly from the rewireable CU and a bit worrying where the outgoing T+E is shooting off to, as well.

It's another bit of a favour.....removing wall light wiring (permanent live) fed from local roses...should be simple but only one twin at each rose, hence that first photo.Love the bellwire!
That's what kicked me into doing a full check of our own house electrics several years after moving in (a job i was getting round to...), I found the whole of the lights and socket outlets in the loft wired in bellwire - two core of course, all light fittings class 1 metal fluorescent and naturally std 13A skt outlets..
I am a drummond!!I don’t know what that green one is....
“Picnic blanket” tartan I think.
My mother’s family are Drummond. So that’s mine.
Blimey Drummond lamps have come on a bit.you got one of these then:

Actually mainly ok, but they were disconnected and ripped out within minutes of finding out, after I calmed down!!!Scarey!!
Out of interest, how were the cables? Scorched and brittle or good condition?
Aye, and the bell wire wiring wasn't too good before i started either........Rough as a badger's posterior
Asbestos CUs in Scotland.... and don’t worry about hand sanatizer.... for years we’ve been using Wire Brush and Dettol!

Many years ago when we first moved to Scotland, we decided to add concealed bolts to the double doors into the garden (this sort of thing https://www.NoLinkingToThis/p/era-brass-concealed-door-security-bolts-60mm-2-pack/5748G)Can’t get my handle on the fault
I think you should buy a lottery ticket !
Class job is that.Surprisingly not the cause of the issue but certainly one for the future.

Is it not 20mm pipe ...
That’s a fire waiting to happen, those fuel cans are sh1te and leak out the vented caps when bouncing around. Whoever thought to store them alongside the batteries with that abomination of wiring is a total genius.
Very festive.
