Anyone come across this the dysonairblade has a mind of its own it goes on and off as it pleases only since I installed a motion sensor in the bathroom for the lighting.

Did you install a motion sensor or an occupancy sensor? Does the bathroom have heating or a window getting full sunlight (although I doubt this would be the issue at this time of year in the UK).

How often is it switching on and for what duration?

Hi yeah it's a motion sensor pretty sure it's something to do with that the bathroom has chrome 500 x 1200 wet towel rail.

The Infrared emitter in the occupancy PIR sensor will be interfering with the sensor in the Hand Dryer that detects the motion of hands going into the drying area, it may well be getting reflected off of a mirror or chrome pipe/tap/towel rail....this will be random depending on condensation etc....
Try moving the PIR sensor to redirect the sweep of the beam to where it still catches occupancy motion to keep the lights on with the timer....this should stop the Hand dryer from randomly going on....
