can anyone recommend a good cad program for doing electrical floor plans and straight line diagrams with all thr symbols fot the uk

Have you had a look at Visio?

not used visio in about 20 years.
you telling me i can use that to do electrical floor plans.
i have the dwg files with building on them i was thinking of a cad based program

but.. can i import the blank house plans into visio?

for the SLD's i imagine visio would be ideal.
do they have the symbols available?
