Hi , I have 6 50watt Halogen GU10s that work perfectly only problem is my 4 year old leaves them on all day. I first tried the Megaman DORS cfls but too long for the cans and a pain to control. I've gone for 6 watt LEDs with a 'free' cheap dimmer that came with the lamps. Problem is as the load is so small they flicker when dimmed and also minimum is still about 70% brightness. Are there any dimmers that are suitable for LEDs and operate from 0 to 100%? Or a better efficient GU10 / dimmer combo that won't flicker on minimum? Cheers

Buy a trailing edge dimmer from Varilight. They're designed to get going at 10W unlike most dimmers which require a minimum load of 40W. Will put you back about £15 from Screwfix. Danlers are bringing out a LED dimmer soon too which they were demoing at Elex but I don't think it's in full production yet.
