On a 2 x 2port valve system (s plan) where the hot water is controlled by a single channel switch is it possible to use a Danfoss TP7000 programmable room stat to control the on/off for the heating system. All I have is call/com on it and no heating "on".

Cheers

Think I might have worked it out:

"Com" to zone valve grey (honeywell 2 port)
"Call" to zone valve brown (honeywell 2 port)

Does that make sense?

No thats not right. Back to the drawing board.

So you have a single channel timeclock for DHW, and you want to run the CH through a programmable stat???

It should work no problem, send a perm live supply to the stat, and connect the returning call signal from the stat to the brown core of the CH zone valve. the orange is the outgoing signal form the zone valve to the pump & boiler etc, the grey is a perm live into the valve.

Cheers Lenny.

Not my design, picked this one up after home owner chucked plumber and his "electrician" of the job. Apparently you can work for the fire brigade and also be an electrician at the same time - who knew!
