My brother had years of experience pulling the twin+E cheese wire,then one day I distracted him and he pulled that cheese wire towards him,it snapped, a tiny bit was left in the cutters that hit him,it made sure he never had use of that eye again

Be carefull folks, if you do go cheese pulling,always strip away from you

up to 2.5mm i use the cpc. over that, longitudinal cut with sir stanley, then pull the cpc out.

Dont use Twin and skin much but when I do I use the cheese wire method.
Ive never actually seen anyone use a sparks knife LOL

Cheese wire method for me also, up to and including 6mm. Any bigger and i use a knife to cut down the middle

Always slice across then down and peel back. Was taught that way during my apprenticeship back in the 80's, and it's stuck with me.
That said, I don't have a problem with the cheese wire method, it's just that I was programmed the other way.

A good long soak and gentle rubbing with a soft sponge is used around these parts for any cheese cutting.
