cheese wire for what?
Always slice across then down and peel back. Was taught that way during my apprenticeship back in the 80's, and it's stuck with me.
That said, I don't have a problem with the cheese wire method, it's just that I was programmed the other way.
I'm just surprised no-one has yet waived the joker card of 'it stretches the cpc and changes the csa'.
A good long soak and gentle rubbing with a soft sponge is used around these parts for any cheese cutting.
Way too much info!
You never know, this could be number one in an occasional series entitled 'Archy's Ablutions'.
