I’m running in cabinet led strip (tape) lighting using DV24V strips powered by a 24V 60W driver. I had tried to use a lower wattage driver for the job but the last strip caused it to flicker so I stepped it up to the 60W and they work without flickering.
The job calls for an automatic door switch and most of the Reed switches that I am finding are only rated to 5W or 10W. I tried to use a 10W and it worked for about 10 seconds and then got very hot and stopped working. Splitting up the lights on multiple lower wattage drivers is not the ideal solution, as we are trying keep it as clean as possible.
Any ideas or feedback would greatly be appreciated.
