No cheaper alternatives that I know of that do the same job. I am assuming you need them to do the same job of course...

Sick of forking out £££££ for p clips, anyone have any alternatives?
All round band looks poo

It depends where you are using them Hodgey? I have just been looking into an alternative for attaching cable to outside walls when the concrete/brick crumbles when you put in normal cable clips.

The 2 alternatives were P clips or pin plugs 100 Pin Plugs For Fixing Cable Clips Into Hard Surface | eBay

So if its for the same thing you could try pin plugs although I have only just received them so I can't vouch for them yet.

Sorry a bit late....As you know BS requires FP to be supported weather surface or in trunking...so here is our trade secret just for you. Metal cable and pipe support band cut every other hole, with shears. Fits nicely into 25mm x 16mm for most looped systems. Using trunking covers the standard of protection below 2m, but for neatness we trunk all cables, ceiling and all....has passed every inspection we have had over past 10 years.....Hope this saves you some money.

Tazz is the screw going between to 2 fp's and in to the wall, if so it looks bloody close.

Believe me photo`s dont do it justice, without the screw you can fit 3 FP200`s without a problem in a 25mm x 16mm, so with 2 fp200 there is plenty of space. Try it and see.
