Just started back testing after 3mths install work, its easy to forget things after a break. On the last pir we did 3 phase pscc was noted on meter then this measure was doubled and put on test sheet(as it was 3 phase) Now starting on this job the guy in charge does not double this measurement and i was going through all my test and insp. & n.i.c.e.i.c books to find this !!!!!!! I KNEW i had read this somewhere, could not find it in any n.i.c.i.c books but then EUREKA found quotation in the amicus guide to inspection & testing.Out of interest how do you guys record it??????? which is right or wrong

The doubled value is the value to be recorded.

Depending on your test equipment a 3 phase fault current can be tested directly to give correct value as opposed to the rule of thumb method.
