Pv Mounting Rail

Does anybody know if there is a specific standard that PV mounting rail must comply with. ie: Does it have to have a BsEn number?

yes, there is. couldn't tell you what it is but it's to do with resistance to corrosion as it has to last the lifetime of the system.

It's in the guilelines somewhere. Digest 495 is a start point. BSI PD 6484:1979, ‘Commentary on corrosion at bimetallic contacts and its alleviation’
Note: This includes guidance on the selection of metals for mechanical design of arrays
