What's the difference between these rcb? I have 380/s030 rcb where when press test button it doesn't work. Can I replace with 380/a030 or it has to be 380/s030. It appears it's only protecting shower and sockets .

The 3 module wide /s version is specifically designed for split (hence the s) load boards and has two blades on the back to connect to the bus bars. The A one you ask about is designed for incomer use, is only two modules wide and has only one blade on the back, the other connection is made through a terminal. If you just plugged the /a version in, it would not work, and you would have a gap in the front of the board!
You need the /s version, which I think may be obsolete, but there are sources!

see this thread for discussion on this...in the end I bought a complete board with all the required parts for about £90 plus vat from Rexel and swapped it all over in under an hour leaving me with the enclosure etc to make into a mainswitch board as and when I need it..win!

Thanks for your reply. That's the reason I asked about a version. If I use a version I can fill either gap with blanking plate. Do you know any where I can find a version or any other alternative way to replace this
Another connection would be needed. The gap is trivial compared to making it actually work!
If you follow the link above it does explain a method of doing it which apparently is legit by the manufacturers.
