Hi all,

I'm wanting a light switch removed and making dead so the plasterer can fill in and plaster over. Is this a simple DIY job?
If not what would be a reasonable price for this to be done by a professional?

Thanks

It’ll need the switch wire removing and electrically making safe. Simple enough if it’s been 3 plate wired at the ceiling rose. A pain in the Harris if it’s in a hidden JB.

The first option probably going be minimum charge (am hours Labour).

Second option, a lot more costly as got to find the JB.
