I have eventially decided to get regestered with elecsa for domestic, I am doing a new cu tomorrow and as I am wanting to use it for assesment just want to make sure on bonding as now he wants that doing too.
The house has just been all done up and question is about routing as i am sure he won't want it on show. Can you route it behind the plaster work? and if so does it need protection?

depends on your earthing arrangement, TN or TT. and size of main bonding conductor/s

as faras i know, you can run it anywhere you can to make a neat job. if under plaster, i would use capping, but no mech. protection needed

Have you served a building notice to the LABC ? Your obliged to do so until such time as your registered or your breaking the law...it cobblers I know but that's where we are
