What can I do?There doesn't appear to be a neutral at the switch.
Not much unless you can pull a neutral to that point.
It’s close to the breaker box and they do run through a conduit, I’ll damn an electrician. Thanks for the help.If that is a two-way switch as it appears to be, there is no neutral at all so no power outlet is possible.
If the cables are run through simple and well laid out conduit then you might be able to use an existing cable to pull through its own replacement and a new neutral at the same time. Or you might be able to use a "fish tape" to navigate the route and pull just the neutral through. Neither is going to be easy and it might be the building and cable layout is simply too convoluted to allow it to be done without accessing intermediate points to do it in several steps.
Realistically I would either give up on the dual switch/outlet idea, or get a professional in to do it.
