Discuss the new iet model forms, how do you interpret them in the Electrical Wiring, Theories and Regulations area at ElectriciansForums.net
Hi all
I noticed the new iet model forms no longer have live to neutral IR testing column. They do have L-L IR column, but im assuming thats for 3 phase, wondered what you guys think. all input appreciated
A neutral conductor is not a line conductor. Line (phase) and neutral conductors are all live conductors.L-L can mean L-N in Single phase circuits. The neutral is classed as a line conductor too.

When? Neither the 16th nor the 17th Edition contained that.It previously had 4 columns
