Thinking about becomming an electrician but...

Hi i've been thinking about becomming an electrician for a while now but was wondering if, with the current economical crisis it would still be worth doing, and if there is still demand for new electricians?

or is it just a case of, people will always need electrical appliances installed so new electricians will always be needed?

The current economical crisis is effecting everyone and everything in the country at the moment, but who is to say that by the time you have finished training say 4-5-6 years time that everything will be rosey?

Electricans are always needed.
