These things are not designed to take swa. Yet when you have a few to do and the wall is a retaining wall you can't put a JB on the back for a flex.
Then it gets more of a pain when you have more then one. So what is the best way to do these things (except to not do them :p )?

Thought about using a molded box to run a separate swa to each, only you can't gland it properly at the fitting

swa out of the house. They are going to have the whole garden re done with patio and steps up onto the lawn. It's all yet to be dug out, so cable can be laid straight across to each lamp and chase up the wall or run behind the wall and come through. It's just finding the best way to try connect swa to them.

Sorry, do you mean the garden will be dug out, the cable will be cleated on the 'mud' side of the wall and the cable run into the wall to each light? Cos if you're going to do that, and you can't gland SWA onto the fittings, I would forget using SWA and use conduit with singles or even twin in, clip the conduit to the wall, and behind each light point, put a round conduit box with the back drilled out and open-grommetted, then run the cable in and out of this hole to the fitting. Recommend galv conduit but high impact rigid PVC would do too.
