Which testing software does everyone use?

We use to use FastTest (Amtech/Trimble) but since we have updated to MacBooks we can’t use it anymore

I have tried iCertifi but can’t seem to get the hang of it, I really liked FastTest as the layout was good like your were filling a hand written form. Not a fan of having to use a drop down arrow for each circuit & info

I use Easycert, have used it for the last 5 years, quite happy with it for the cost and works well for me for all certification. You can set up templates in it, it remembers clients and address making future reports quicker. No idea if it will work on a MacBook but don't see why not. There is a free trial download for 30days I think so you can have a play with it and see if it will work for you!

+1 for Easycert - been using it since 2009 or so and like it - however, it looks like it may not work with Macbooks. The mobile device can be an iPad, but the product download only lists Windows 8+ - might be worth checking with them though.

There are some that are all online now, and those would in theory work on any browser.

i just use the grey matter that's in between my ears. it does not crash, does not contradict what i want to enter, errors can be rectified instantly, just the running costs in beer can get high.

I use Easycert and find it great.
I have certs goung back till 2006 or before and it is easy to look up old certs, you can even open up a previous PIR (remeber them) and convert it to a 18th edition EICR (or even an EIC) when you do a retest or new works

Much better that the NIC / SELECT certs as one fee (about £60 per year for renewal per device) is a fixed cost - no paying out per cert.
