discovered something I didnt know about the other day....
there’s a fairly large space behind the driver and passengers seats in the caddy van seems like a big wasted space. What do you keep in there? Or did you not know about it either?

yes I have a caddy ,the space behind the driver seat a washing machine and the passengers side a ironing board .;)

Any side air bags to complicate things.
( or adjustments to tall people ? /Pyros retracting seats)
..all guesses .. VW do like fancy features !
(only discovered when need replacing after crash)

Most reliable van behind a ford pushing it .

.... a ford pushing it .
Are they still Hydraulically powered by the water in the rear spare tyre well ?
(Or did the do away with the spare to fix that)

I filled mine full of rubbish that I took out after four years, there’s a lot of rubbish.
That’s what’s in mine at the moment. I had a little Henry hoover bin between the seats and it was overflowing straight down into the compartment behind the seat. I noticed today when clearing it out that the carpet is damp :coldsweat: time to hunt for the leak:dizzy:

Wouldn't have one about me, extortionate money for a half car that costs more to keep it on the road than your making, my advice is to get rid of it and get a newer ford!
