Nice stuff,Old books are are hobby of mine,obligatory toilet reading being a set of Buck and Hickman reference books from the early to mid 1900's...them were the days,when a vehicles tool kit contained a head-gasket and the tools to fit it on the roadside...
 
"A bakers dozen" Bakers could be prosecuted for selling bread under weight so they always added 1 more to dozen to make up the weight. Hence "A bakers dozen". A useless bit of information I know, trouble is, if you don't know what a dozen is your stuffed.
