Hi Guys

i just wanted to share with Installers and the public

that we have sold our 3 rd system this mth and its only the 8th aug at the 16p rate.

So guys keep your heads up.

Fuel bills cost too much people know that

Solar panels are not about the FITS no more and this is better for us installers.

we've had 7 inquiries including 3 commercial since 1st August as well, so it does seem that when the sun comes out to play a little people are still interested.

Totaly agreed. I also installed 2 v-phases this week for previous solar power customers.

People would have to be stupid to think solar is not worth it and the prices have droped a few bob too.

I have been looking at those V-phase units, they look like a bit of a nuisance to install having to separate all circuits etc. Surely on a lot of consumer units already full with no spare ways these cannot even be installed?

Fit a Voltis unit then

Most of the people we sell them to have already had solar power from use so we know there mains units already from site survey images etc. Just installed one at home so Im happy 4 kwp and vphase , so looking to save save save!

If there is an increase in solar installs I'm sure Barking will take the credit for saving the industry:wink5:

depends largely on the supply voltage, energy consumption levels and what it's being consumed by.

VO's should make the most difference to pumps, compressors, fans, then lights, electronic kit etc. but no difference to heat.

as for the units... we're fitting the Apex version as they allow for 40amp continuous running, 60amps for half an hour and upto 100amp bypass, so can be fitted straight to the incoming tails, whereas the standard V-phase unit is 8amps continuous, 20amps peak, 80amp bypass, so can only do a few circuits in most houses, and looks to involve more messing around in the consumer unit than seems sensible to me for the price difference.
