Hi

I have an existing flood light, powered via a three core & earth (1.5mm) and it's switched.

I want to add two more lights, one for the side and one for the front.
I will be using PVC conduit and junction boxes to run the cables.

Out of the two plans, which is the better one?
One cable out to feed each light, or three cables out, each feeding one light?

Cheers.

It doesn’t matter.

Do the fittings come pre flexed? Will there be a box at each light position?
Whether you loop into each box in turn, or have a central box serving each position… it’s up to you.
As long as you connect all the lives to live, neutral to neutrals and earth to earth…

Most of the time, on a job, we decide how it’s connected up by how it’s been run… by suitable cable routes etc…. But if you’re going surface pvc conduit, that’s not a problem.

Thanks littlespark. Yes each luminaire is pre-flexed and that will be cabled into a junction box for each one.
