Hi all, had my MCS assessment and assessor stated the aluminium brackets needed to be MCS approved? Is this right? I thought it was just the panels? Surely if the metal conforms to EN 10088-1:2005 e.t.c. this will suffice?

On a separate note, what is the general consensus on here regards FIT ending 12th December? It's properly stuffed my business plans!

Mounting Systems ned to be as a minimum TUV approved, ideally CE, and you need the certifcates to prove it. You should also have a copy of the installation instructions, so that they know you know how to install it.

The MCS012 is not yet live, however I believe that all TUV approved systems will be automatically approved.

Not only that m all mounting brackety suppliers will have 12 months to get their products approved to MCS012.

A bit 'after the horse has bolted' kind of situation, However as I understand it MCS012 id NOT yet a compulsory requirement.
