I'm sure there's a reg related to the depth of cables under water in a Marina environment.
I'm sure it was they must be encased in lead if at a depth of >4m

I've been searching Section 709 but can't find it...... is it something else I've dreamt up??

Anyone????

Have you ever thought about setting exam questions? if so I'm not doing any, I would never pass with questions like that!!

Don't know if the IET could help ? Their tech line is open on the 19/20 this week tel no 01438 765599. they have answered some way out questions when I've asked them.
