Changing to a 3 phase meter.

Hi i have a job at a garage to install a new three phase board as they are having ramps ect. There is a three phase supply but currently they have a single phase board on a single phase meter. The question is can i change the meter to a three phase or do the supply people have to.

Dno's equipment, DNO's job!! however thats not three phase! that looks a lot like TNC-S 2-phase and N to me

it is 3-phase mate sorry it does look like the tail comes from the thirs main switch but it dosnt

It is 3 phase TNC-S, and you definitely not put the 3 phase meter on. DNO must do it.

yer i thought so just wanted to check it was just that all the clips had been cut off from being changed before

That looks suspiciously like a fused N to me, although im sure it isnt and has a link in it instead.

Im with Jason there anyways Contact the DNO and they will advise you as to procedure and any cost expect a few quid

It does look like that at a first glance, but if you look a bit closer you can see the neutral is connected next to that cutout fuse in the enclosed neutral/earth block and disappears behind it... The DNO cables are routed behind the mounting board, but looks as if entering that cut out fuse!! ...lol!!
