Concentric stranded cable????

Has anyone come across this cable before .i havnt it looks like 10 1mm twisted together and the mains earth is 4 2.5mm.i was all set to fail it till my mate said it was consenteric is he right

Yup, deffo split con cable. You could maybe fail the termination into the MCB clamp, it's usually against manufacturers recommendations having so many wires in it, should really be using a palm lug or similar.

Split concentric is, concentric is not.

It also does not meet the requirements of negating the need for RCD (additional protection) if is buried in a wall for example.

Yes, it is used a lot powering domestic houses and streetlights

Yes, but it is not suitable for burying without RCD/mechanical protection etc.
