1. In a commercial situation. In a switchroom can the supply from the main board to a sub-board directly adjacent to the main board be via double insulated tails, clipped to tray?

2. Any ideas on this situation - want to adjoin trunking to a sub board. The trunking is 100 x 100 but the DB is only 70mm wide so I cannot flange this into the board - any ideas?

1)...why not?...i mean you can run tails from a cutout to a C/U...
2)can you not go into the side of the dis board?.....or put an end blank on the trunking...then drill that through to suit knockout/existing entry on dis board?
