Was looking for some advise. Plumber has installed water tank with three 4kw elements at the moment I have ran three individual circuits. At the moment the salon is running of the boiler. I am just looking if anyone would know what 7 day time clock would be suitable for 4kw. Want the contractor idea as last resort. Can anyone help?

Sangamo timeswitches are rated to 20Amps, but obviously you will need 3 seperate timeswitches which are running at exactly the same times for 3 seperate elements which is a bad design.

You would be much better off using a single timeswitch to pull in some contactors to switch the load.

Thanks. Can u give more detail? Does that mean doing away with 2 circuits I have ran. Using one on a single time clock then to three contactors then to the three elements?
