Dado Trunking

Got an office to fit dado trunking around, Just wondering if someone has a magic number hight wise for the trunking as no office furniture is there yet. I could take an educated guess I know but just checking in case someone knows better.

Desks are usually 3ft give a little clearance for plug flexes but no specific height i dont believe ... sometimes window ledges etc may pre-empt your chosen height.

TIP... check lids, bends etc - if they lip over the trunking then dont forget to allow a space if running up against a ledge or wall edge or your lid wont clip on.

Your dining room table would be about the same height as a workstation desk.

Got a Local Authority spec. through to fit dado trunking in some offices. Their's state top of trunking 950mm AFF level in some offices and 1000mm AFF level in others.

If you haven't a specified height, then as others have said!

darkwood has pointed out an excellent tip that's very often overlooked! Bloody good advice IMO.

Height to bottom is the one to use, clearance issues.
Height to top takes no account of the height of the dado spines.

We tend to go about 800mm to bottom, most office desks are around 700/750mm.
