I've come across this incomer, looks like 10mm conductors.

The dno has upgraded the meter and used a 100A fuse.

So my question is, does this need reported or can I do whatever work I please along as I don't overload the 100A fuse 🤔

It may not be an 100A fuse inside.
The earth-clamp alone is enough reason to be talking to the DNO in my opinion.

What type of cable is that? Is it singles in conduit or is it MICC? With a clamp on pot for the earth? If it's MI, it might be large enough, partly because the solid conductor is larger than it looks, and partly because of its high current rating for a given size.

I wondered if it was MICC. Would it be possible for them to be double insulated (as they stand) if it was?

Conduit with a female bush without a doubt.

Also the chances of those being metric is very slim probably 7/.052 or 7/.064.

Whatever it is, its the incoming supply cable but looks a bit DIY with the earth clamp to provide TN-S earth connection?

It really isn't that uncommon and has probably been there for 50 odd years.

Its a highly unusual situation for me .Out of curiosity ,why would the DNO,s supply be MI?, Secondly ,is the the TN-S earth connected via a jubilee clip?

This isn't unusual at all nor is it MI cable or a Jubilee clip.

It's a BS951 pipe clamp on a conduit, that obviously isn't the service cable itself but extends from either a multi-service cutout or looping point or something elsewhere.

When I first looked at it on a phone screen it looked like the end of a pot poking out but it's a female bush. Sometimes MI is used in this application between the point of entry and the meter position. Often with the pot and stub sleeves exposed; not correct practice but it is done.

Conduit with female bush, I would say it's fused the other end of that too, the 100A fuse carrier in the pic may not be that size.

If they are approx 10sq, the cutout fuse (up or downstream) may have been derated to 60A.
Just hope that they are ‘tails’ and not exposed singularly insulated conductors!
