Earthing continuity past the generation meter

Chaps,

The Generation Meter we have has no earth connection, so I was looking to put in a 5 way junction box to take the meter off and continue earth through to the inverter..

But looking around at images of Gen Meter installs I don't see any junction boxes installed next to them... Am I missing a trick?

I think quiite a few PV companies use this type of box connection under the meter to get over the fact that there would be single insulated cables stripped back from a Twin + Earth, and I think they either use a Wago or a choc block for the earths.
