Discuss Electric rewire quote - what should it contain? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Even the teeth that you keep in a glass by the bed?
sod off. i might not have a full set ( due mainly to the school dentist butcher) but those what i have are all my own. :D:D:D.

If you are getting a quote for a rewire what should the quote contain?

Will it contain the name of the consumer unit and the position on the wall/ceiling where the chases will be etc?

Would be great if someone could pm a quote they have done or received so I have an idea of what to expect when I start contacting people next week when I get the keys.
Itemising quotes is a dangerous game, it enables the customer to take things out and it can end up where the work being carried out is almost a money loser, 3.5 grand plus vat or 4 grand plus vat for 20 sockets, 10 lights, 3 smokes and a DB is about it lol, once you start adding costs per point it can end up a can of worms, popcorn ready.

Not many Northerners have teeth, too busy chewing the --- out of anyone not white or with a beer belly to keep their teeth clean.
