Hi,
I know that with ELV lights if one lamp goes, the remiaining ELV lights get overdriven and the voltage they receive increases. But what if each individual light is powered by its own 12v transformer? Does the same thing happen and if a certain number of lights go, can it lead to all the lights not workin, including nay mains lights on the same circuit?

Any advice/help would be really appreciated

maybe very briefly at the point in which the lamp blows. If they are wired correctly in parallel then in the long term no.

One lamp failing should not have an effect on the others or others on the same circuit further down.

what is the problem you are trying to resolve?

The problem is a lighting circuit containing both elv and mains powered lights. A quarter of the lights in the circuit are working but the rest aren't. They are all controlled by a 12 gang switch. Theres power going to every lighting point and the switches seem o.k. (from what I can make out of the maze of wires behind the switches.
Before going on to sub dividing the circuit and doing continuity checks on various sections of the circuit, I wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking something obvious like just changing a few lamps to solve the problem.
