hi all,
I'm making a heat box with 6 x 1KW oven heat elements inside.

I need some guidance with regards to how to wire this box up.
some simple instructions on which wires to use, where to source them etc, would be greatly appreciated.

I would prefer if the box had a single plug which could be connected to the mains BUT I'm told that the standard mains switch won't be suitable as the total power will be 6 x 1KW and the mains will burn out.

The oven will only be used for something like 5 min runs at a time.

6kw = 26A , so a dedicated 6mm circuit on 32Aor 40AMCB is what you need. no way can you put it on a standard 13A plug

he can use one of them ok, but still needs dedicated 6mm circuit, yes?

thank you for your replies
could you guide me in simple terms as to how I would complete the circuit using the 6mm thick wire?
thanks
