I need to extend a slightly too short 10mm2 cable by a few inches in a consumer unit.
For smaller cables, I've used heatshrink butt crimps, but the biggest size I've got is for 6mm2 cable.

Does anyone know if you can get something similar for 10mm2 cable?

Thanks for the replies.
I guess you don't see the heatshrink type for 10mm2 about because it would be too big for the regular crimp tools.

At the ELEX show last week, one of the crimp manufacturers explained that for heatshink butt crimps above 6mm2, the crimp tool will tend to damage the heatshrink, and so they don't do them.

I did get a few Heatshrink Solder Butt samples - from Partex - where there is a ring of solder provided in the middle, and you solder the overlapping copper cores with the heat gun - no crimping required. I've not tried them yet, so don't know how well they work.
