Hi, I'm new here...

Hello to all,

Just a quick one to say that I've recently decided to change careers and am currently in training to become an Electrician. Start of my third career! 13 years serving with REME in the British Army, then 13 years in the private sector earning unfeasible amounts of money, now looking for a new challenge taking me up to retirement.

I hope that I can learn here, and help too; I have some skills in Solar PV, systems engineering and project management, as well as being an IT geek. I enjoy photography (especially aerial photography), hill walking and the great outdoors more generally, and I live in a caravan!

On one of our sites we had old Guy single decker half cabs for 'bait' cabins. No engines, just a tow bar and moved around by a Cat D8.
One of the other contractors used American school buses complete with the flashing lights.
