I am looking at training in installing home automation systems.

Does anyone have any preference on what manufacture they use? Any good/ bad ones?

Im hoping to be able to go to a training day/ days somewhere.

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks Jabrock, i met the guys from AMX today which led me to try and find more out about it, i love the concept of it all.

Do you prefer a particular brand? have you had any specific manufacturer training on there products?

Thanks

Dan

Crestron will be a good place to start, their lighting is on par with lutron, they also do shades (automated blinds), plus sound systems and the normal av stuff, Some of Cedia course a are also pretty good

Extron is also worth a call, they deal with mainly control and switching

Over the years i have had training from Extron, amx, cestron, lutron plus many more

Sorry to but in, what do you guys think to the Cbus gear, just started renovating a property for myself and am looking into installing home automation, and also would like to start installing it for customers.
