I am interested in having a home generator that would provide power to my home when the power is out during hurricane season, etc.

I have 2 electrical panels in my garage that are 200 amps each. I purchased a 13,000/10,000 watt predator generator. I would like to use an interlock rather than a transfer panel.

i live in a rural area with my own well that supplys water to my home.

I know that I can not power my entire home but I would like to be able to have power to my:

1. Well pump
2. Fridge
3. deep freezer
4. hot water heater
5. 3 ton A/C (???) (willing to install soft start)
6. Living room lights
7. outlets for charging cell phones

Since I have 2 panels, does each panel need its own generator inlet box and interlock?

any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. I can provide more info and pictures if needed. I understand that a home Generac system would be ideal with its own transfer switch but I can not afford the huge price tag at this time. I am just looking to power the essential needs not to use hair dryers and dry clothes etc.
