The whole forum is been over-run with 3000 topic threads and ppl trolling club 3000 through all the threads it was only a matter of time that one of the mods started clearing it all up but would be kinda ironic if the offenders had their post count set back to -0- or would that be too nasty

Its possible the threads are been merged or if they hold no content of value then disposed of, we already have a thread regarding the subject and we dont really need 10 more.

I did see the 3000 posts and did not clearly understand them

I see there is a warning at the top of the forum popped up this evening about swearing, I am pleased that the kind folk who run this place have sorted that out as it was getting a little horrid to read

If you also looked a few members have a line now through their names as they have had their accounts suspended for a while although i doubt they will suffer a ban for the trolling of multiple threads posting 'club3000' everywhere... yes its well policed but there are several who have the powers to close threads etc but on occasion non of them may be online and like you saw things got a bit silly

No its the post itself those banned members were trolling as many threads as possible and repeating the message which led to confusion for members and annoyance too ive used the term in post 5# but it isnt written in the context that the banned members were spamming with.

Obviously I'm not in club 3000 and hence can't understand why I have had 53 notifications in my hotmail account telling me about replies to threads I can't access? Is someone having a laugh?

Message the Mods its probably a glitch somewhere it was a setting which Dan found that allowed an area access to a set post no' so it seems to have a few teething issues as your not the first as some have got accidental access to the 3000+ area regardless of their post counts

Theres a way around it that someone has stumbled upon. Depends on what type of device you use and what programs you use to get through the door, so to say.

For all I care you can all have a look at the posts, thers nothing realy in it yet.

Mods can't do anything, only Admin level and above have access to the viewing and editing permissions of the members groups.

I've made a post in the staff room to highlight the issue.

Go to the 'Quick Links' menu at the top of the page just below the banner, there's a 'subscribed threads' link. Clear your subscriptions if you don't want email notification every time someone posts in them. Also go into 'General Settings' and set the ' Default Thread Subscription Mode' to Do Not Subscribe. That should sort out your inbox getting filled.
