I am getting erratic results on a house which i am currently working on. The house has been sat at 2nd fix stage for about 6 weeks and is damp. I came to commission it today and my IR readings are poor. I have a megger so its max is 999MOhms but i am getting results of 80-120MOhms on Rings and about 50MOhms on Lights. The readings gradually keep raising at a very slow pace. I have Powered it up to i can get the heating on and dry the plot out a bit. Have you guys been in a similar situation?. I plan to go back once its dried to redo IR results. Its dot and dab with plasterboard and then skimmed over, the house is semi detached and the worst ring sits on the conjoining wall.

Very likely a problem with damp especially if the readings rise during testing.
However your results are all well within limits so there shouldn't be a problem unless the damp is endemic to the property.

I would second the advice about retesting at a later date if you want to record better results.
However your readings are not poor. Not to the max of your tester, and maybe not what you would expect of new cables, but certainly not poor.
