You can only be graded an adult apprentice if you are directly employed(not self employed)......I asked to be regraded and paid my fee yet even showing evidence of my quals coz im self employed the computer said no..... I ended up with a labourer card arghhh..this is what I already had...They dont even put your quals on a labourer card regardless if you have 17th Edition,2391-10,2330 Level 2,PEO Electrical Installation NVQ Level 2,2377-10 Inspect & Testing.
I have appealed and am awaiting a decision which surprise surprise can take up to 8 weeks....If it takes that long then there must be alot of unhappy sparkys appealign against their grade.
