i was thinking of the older FCUs that a lot were only single pole.AFAIK all BS1363 FCUs are DP although that doesn't stop someone making up SP arrangements using grid parts.

Been fine all day today. Had dishwasher, washing machine all on at the same time. Rains stopped aswel ?. I'll have to see it it happens again next time it pi$$es down. Cant go unplugging appliances and fault finding when everythings working. Thanks for everyones ideas.
