stay out of hearing range
let her think she's getting her way
tell her the silent treatment works better

I could lock her in a cupboard.

Just remember to let her out every now and again for a drink of water - and to do the dishes and iron the clothes!

good point.

I could leave her in there and get a new one to do all of the above.

Don't forget their birthday. That'll keep 'em sweet for that month. Take them away in summer. Shoes go down a treat instead of flowers when you're in the bad books. Don't book them in the fancy hotel / restaraunte to impress them - book them in the first hotel / restaraunte you stayed in and try to get the same tune on the wireless or whatever - the special touches get remembered for years not just months. She will owe you one after that. ;)

You don't seriously think any of us remember what music was playing in the first restaurant/hotel we went to with our other halves do you Dan?

(Or am I just a crap boyfriend?)
