My pet hate as a customer is the trades person who's a miserable sod that always tuts, moans and complains a lot, have we ever met Buzz?
My plumber is like that. You’d think he’d never fitted a tap in a tight spot before. Still some of the crap us customers want fitting these days!

Customers on the phone for ages just when you need to speak to them.

i use the yoozy boxes when ever it's required to have working sockets before plasterer gets in. usually in kitchens where freezers etc. need supply without trailing extension leads all over the house for the cat to trip over.

I can see the idea there, I was more referring to putting something in the boxes any good plasterer (and yes there are a few) cleans out the boxes if needed. I was always taught to coil cables up into the box.

once had a total rewire. customer ran a bit short of cash, so was left with kitchen completed but rest of house left as 1st fix for 6 months.called back then to complete. upstairs rfc good. downstairs rfc ...no end-end all 3. checked every socket connections, all good. then vagualy remembered fitting socket box on a certain wall in lounge. all plastered and papered. bosch metal detector finds back box. careful cut ot reveals box with 2 T/E tucked inside.

Hence the testing prior to energising had the same the other day with a buried box (on a radial) old metal detector out didn't make a fuss over it as all the other boxes were cleaned out.

Left 2 boxes for shaver socket and heated mirror in bathroom. Returned to find tiler had tiled over them, and had pushed the 2 pipes for the shower into the wall and tiled over them as well.

It is something they hand out on the tube for free to pass the time away........

Plumbers or DIY bodgers who run pipes resting hard on plasterboard ceilings..
Drilling some downlights holes once for a kitchen and saw I had just nicked a plastic outlet pipe below bathroom floor. Being a responsible sort of person i thought i know, I'll cut it thru and fit a glued union coupler to it.. half way thru cut (re member I'm underneath it) ello what's all this brown stuff seeping out? Anyway sawed it right thru and got covered in ----!! Was only a maserator pipe wadnt it :-( don't know who wad more embarrassed me or the client.. anyway, the phrase "A real ---- job" never had more meaning!!

The clients hanging over your shoulder all day
