Hi all looking for a bit of knowledge as im not really sure where to turn too. I completed my apprenticeship last January with JTL, level 3 NVQ done my AM2 and finished all the exams, been working for my dad since i left school so have been doing it for 5 years! Im looking to now go out into the big wide world on my own i have a van and all my own tools, i get left and sent to jobs to do on my own and test them at the minute. I just want to set up on my own and be able to register my own certificates rather than my dad signing all the work off, just wondering how to go about this, ie whether i need to do the 2394 wont bother with the 5 i hate doing periodics and wont test other peoples work as you never know what happens behind closed doors. Any and all information will be greatly appreciated
