We have all done it, Job needs doing and your kit breaks, gets lost, damaged, forgotten whatever and we "fix it"
So whats your best ones? (Sparkys plasters dont count :p)

Here is my latest:

My glasses broke so I cut a small piece of spring steel and used it as a splint between the lenses and the arm then shrink wrapped them and now they are good as new :p

Yes ok I need to go to spec savers at some point but it saves me some mullah for now :p

I once snapped my manhood beyond recognition falling from a scaffold tower (don't ask why it was hard enough to snap in the first place, that's not important), I just used a small piece of spring steel as a splint then shrink wrapped it and then it was good as new :D

Was once playing football in the park with my sons when one of them had his belt break. Play stopped because he couldnt run while holding his trousers up. (they are skinny little buggers and no clothes fit them right)
A quick trip to the car boot sorted it ;)

Disgusting!

No mechanical protection. SWA should have been used as a minimum there! :D
