Overseas work (well paid at that )

any 1 know how i would go about finding work abroad? any help would be appreciated

Being from Scotland you should be looking up North in Aberdeen, plenty of work up there. Overseas isn't all it's cracked up to be.

It is, or should i quickly say Was!! These day's you'll only likely to see vacancies with support contractors in war torn countries!! You really need to be at Degree level, or HND/HNC level these day's to get electrical work on overseas projects. Electricians from the UK/Europe etc, are just too expensive now compared with so-called TCN electricians, like Philippines, India, Pakistan etc!!

Have you tried a google search "Electrical jobs in (insert country of choice)"
Try sites like just engineers, worldwide worker etc

I agree mate but he might have the usually requested HND minimum

been searching all day with only dyncorp being a solid bet. if i couild even find a job here in scotland that would make my day ...
But as usual send in a cv and wait for a reply.

sending cv,s is a waste of time imo go to the boss in person
there used to be a newspaper called the constuction news
i got a few overseas jobs from that
saudi/ uae/persian gulf/aden
unfortunately its a diff story now they just use in---- like in dubai, they work for a few rupies
