Hi, just hoping for a bit of advice. When I travel abroad (Europe, predominantly Spain/Cyprus) I usually take a single travel adaptor and a UK 4 gang extension.
As they're getting on a bit, I've just ordered replacements and am thinking of putting an inline, non latching RCD between the plug and the 4 gang.
Just for safety as not all hotels have brilliant electrics. As electricians, what are you're thoughts on this and if the hotel circuit turns out to also be protected by an RCD, would this present a problem and/or present any further risk.
Also, I do take a plug in socket tester.
